Hello Blog World!

Well, this is not my first blog entry in blog world, but it is my first in a while. I am creating this blog so that people can accompany me on my journey to Japan in 2009. As of now, I am going to travel to Japan for about six months starting in May/June 2009. I will be doing mission work there and my sole reason for going is to tell others about Jesus.

I am obviously starting this blog about six months early. It may not be too exciting for a while, but there are things that will be happening preparation for leaving. Also, I can keep everyone updated on the sequence of events. the first thing that is coming up is I am leaving for training on Jan. 4. I will be in Michigan for about a week learning more about what I am going to do and preparing for the trip. I have been working on all of the behind the scene stuff for about 6 months now. I am almost done with it, but a few things need to be done before training. I should probably get on that! :)

I will update in the weeks to come about training and what is going on. I also hope to share with you my journey (how got to this point) and my excitement and fears.
